Not everyone maintains a Caixa Tem account, causing some to overlook government payments in their digital savings accounts. Check this out!
Launched in 2020, during the Covid-19 crisis, to provide Emergency Aid, Caixa Tem received support from the Federal Government to become the official payment platform for various social assistance and labor benefits, such as Bolsa Família, unemployment insurance, Auxílio Gás Nacional and PIS.
Therefore, since not everyone maintains a Caixa Tem account, some may inadvertently overlook government payments in their digital savings accounts. For this reason, you should keep an eye on the app, as there may be money to receive that you are unaware of. See more information!

PIS
Caixa Econômica Federal pays PIS to private-sector workers. The salary bonus is deposited into Caixa Tem, and the final distribution of the year takes place in July, benefiting those whose birthdays are between November and December.
However, workers can withdraw the amount until December 28, 2023. The benefit varies according to the months worked in 2021 and can reach one minimum wage (R$ 1,320.00). For more details, visit the Caixa website.
Bolsa Família
Bolsa Família payments through Caixa Tem will begin on July 18 and continue until the 31st. Around 20 million families will receive a minimum of R$ 600.00. In addition, the government will pay the program’s additional social benefits, such as the Early Childhood Benefit, which grants R$ 150.00 to children up to 6 years old.

Workers can withdraw funds from the Severance Indemnity Fund (FGTS) only in specific situations, such as the birthday withdrawal, in which they can withdraw a predetermined amount during their birthday month. To do so, they must sign up through the FGTS app (available for Android and iOS).
