The October installment of Bolsa Família began to be distributed on October 18, meaning that the vast majority of beneficiaries of program have already received the amount. Thus, this Thursday (26), those who will receive the payment are beneficiaries with NIS ending in 7.

Who received Bolsa Família in advance?
The federal government released the benefit for families who were in an emergency situation in the Amazon region. This is because many families suffered from the severe drought in the region, so the government declared a state of emergency.
Therefore, to mitigate the impacts, the authorities released the benefit installments for all families on the 18th, regardless of their NIS number.
The same happened to some cities in southern Brazil. In this region, a cyclone harmed many families, and the region had a state of emergency declared by the government. In other words, just like families in the Amazon region, these people received Bolsa Família on the 18th.
New additional amount
In October, Bolsa Família made a new extra amount of R$ 50 available, intended for mothers of six-month-old babies. It is worth noting that this is not the only additional benefit of program, check out what the others are:
- R$ 50 per child or adolescent aged 7 to 18;
- R$ 50 per pregnant or breastfeeding woman.
- R$ 150 per child up to 6 years old.
