The distribution of the July Bolsa Família began on Tuesday (18), bringing changes to the amounts. This time, numerous participants will receive Bolsa Família extras, which translate into payment increases determined by the family composition of those registered.

Why are many still not receiving the Bolsa Família extra?

Bolsa Família is Brazil's main income transfer program, allowing thousands of families to access the income necessary for their subsistence. Recently, the current government restructured the program, which directly affected those enrolled.
One of the most relevant changes concerns the extras that the Federal Government began providing to certain members. Below, see which members of the family unit are entitled to the additional payment:
- Pregnant women receive an additional R$ 50;
- Children up to 6 years old receive an additional R$ 150;
- Children aged 7 to 12, as well as adolescents aged 13 to 18, also receive an additional R$ 50.
To identify the families entitled to the benefit, the Federal Government uses information from CadÚnico (the Federal Government's Single Registry for Social Benefits). Based on this registry, it is possible to access all the information of registered families and grant the corresponding benefits.
Therefore, many families still do not receive the additional amount because they have not updated their registration to indicate the presence of members who meet the required criteria. Thus, those who are entitled to it but still do not receive the additional amounts need to make this update.
How to update CadÚnico?
CadÚnico is updated in person at a CRAS (Social Assistance Reference and Assistance Center) office.
In this scenario, the person responsible for the family must attend the in-person service, bringing the documents of the family members. They must also present documents proving changes to the information, if applicable, such as proof of income or residence.
After completing the registration, just wait for the next payment to receive the Bolsa Família bonus.
July Bolsa Família payment
The July Bolsa Família payment began to be distributed on Tuesday (18) to beneficiaries with NIS (Social Identification Number) ending in 1. Each day, a new group will have access to funds from the Federal Government.
Caixa Econômica Federal, responsible for the distribution, offers its service channels so that beneficiaries can access the funds: the Caixa Tem app, ATMs, branches, lottery outlets, and Caixa Aqui correspondents.
