This June, Bolsa Família is benefiting 21.2 million families with an average amount of R$ 705.40, the highest amount ever paid in the history of the social program.
However, many of these beneficiaries have not yet received the new card, which has a chip and can be used at any establishment with a card machine. The government is sending two types of cards to access the benefit: a Caixa Tem card and a Bolsa Família card.

Those who receive the benefit through a digital savings account will receive the Bolsa Família card. The Caixa Tem card is intended for those who do not have a bank account and will come with a social card with a magnetic stripe.

Accessing the Bolsa Família card
The cards used to access the Bolsa Família amount are provided automatically. There is no need to request one; simply keep your address updated in the Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government (CadÚnico) to ensure correct delivery.

- Access Caixa Tem (available for Android and iOS);
- Select “Bolsa Família”;
- Follow the app’s instructions with the card in hand;
- Finally, create the password for the card.

Additional benefits
This June, 9.12 million children up to 6 years old are receiving the Early Childhood Benefit worth R$ 150, totaling an investment of R$ 1.3 billion.
In addition, the Family Variable Benefit is covering 943 thousand pregnant women and 14.8 million children and adolescents between 7 and 18 years old with an amount of R$ 50. The amount invested is R$ 766 million.
In addition to these benefits, 5.62 million families, including Bolsa Família beneficiaries, are receiving the National Gas Aid worth R$ 109 to purchase a 13kg cooking gas cylinder, with a federal investment of approximately R$ 612.9 million.
