The Lula administration confirmed the disbursement of five amounts this June. The payments apply to Bolsa Família, the country's largest income transfer program, which makes monthly deposits to beneficiaries.
The first confirmed amount is the basic installment of R$ 600, granted monthly to those enrolled in the program. The Citizenship Income Benefit guarantees payment of R$ 142 per member belonging to the beneficiaries' family, registered in the Single Registry (CadÚnico).

For example, if families enrolled in Bolsa Família are single-person households, that is, they contain only one person, they are entitled to R$ 142. However, the government supplements the installment to reach R$ 600.
Although this is the minimum level, the government may deposit a much higher amount to users, depending on the number of family members. This is because the more individuals there are in the family composition, the greater the amount to be received.

- Families with 1 person: R$ 600;
- Families with 2 people: R$ 600;
- Families with 3 people: R$ 600;
- Families with 4 people: R$ 600;

- Families with 6 people: R$ 852;
- Families with 7 people: R$ 994;
- Families with 8 people: R$ 1,136;
- Families with 9 people: R$ 1,278;

Families receiving R$ 600 are grateful for the benefit amount. However, millions of families are receiving a much higher amount than the minimum installment. In short, there are other additional benefits paid by the federal government that increase the deposit amount.
In June, the Lula administration made the payment of the highest average amount in the history of Bolsa Família. This July, the amount should remain at a very high level, as deposits for the additional benefits will be made again.

- Early Childhood Benefit: since March, the government has been paying R$ 150 per child up to six years of age. In summary, the benefit is cumulative, meaning that if there is more than one child in this age group, they will all be entitled to the benefit amount.
- Family Variable Benefit: guarantees an additional R$ 50 for dependents aged seven to 18, as well as pregnant and breastfeeding women in the family unit.
According to the Bolsa Família rules, each benefit is intended for a specific group of people. Therefore, families may receive all of them cumulatively. In other words, a family with children under and over six years of age, as well as pregnant and breastfeeding women, will receive five payments in July, including the minimum installment of R$ 600.
July payment schedule
The payment of the July Bolsa Família installment will begin soon across the country. Users of the social program are eagerly awaiting receipt of this month's installment, which could set a new record, as the government continues to include new users in the program. However, it is important to mention that exclusions are also taking place.
Deposits are made according to the ending digit of users’ Social Identification Number (NIS). In fact, the NIS is what allows the Federal Government to identify citizens who receive social benefits in the country.
As deposits follow the last digit of the NIS, a new group gains access to the funds in their accounts each business day every month. In addition, families benefiting from the program receive the funds through Caixa Econômica Federal, at the bank’s branches or via the Caixa Tem app.

The program's payment schedule distributes deposits over the last business days of each month, following the final NIS digit, starting with digit 1 and ending with number 0. Therefore, users will have to wait another two weeks before they start receiving the installment.
