Bolsa Família will now pay R$ 50 to families with babies up to 7 months old. This is another one of the additional benefits provided by the social income redistribution program.

Additional R$ 50
The news was confirmed by the Ministry of Development and Social Assistance and should already take place in the October payment. However, it is still unknown how many families will receive the new benefit, since the payroll is still being processed.
Extras offered by Bolsa Família
As mentioned before, Bolsa Família benefit has a fixed amount, but includes additional amounts. See how these benefits work:
Additional R$ 150
Families that include children aged 0 to 6 receive a R$ 150 bonus, which has been available since March. Thus, with this extra amount, families can supplement their income by up to R$ 300.
It is worth highlighting that this amount covers a total of 8.9 million children who are part of the program, according to information from the MDS (Ministry of Development and Social Assistance, Family and Hunger Combat).
Benefit for adolescents, pregnant women and breastfeeding women
For family groups with children between 7 and 18 years old, there is the possibility of receiving R$ 50 per person. This additional benefit also applies to pregnant and breastfeeding women.
