Fixed Bolsa Família amount

All families with up to ten members can receive up to R$ 1,400, a record amount. Thus, each member of the family group can receive R$ 142. In the case of smaller families, which do not reach the fixed installment of R$ 600, the federal government guarantees additional amounts.

Extra Bolsa Família benefits

As mentioned before, the benefit has a fixed amount, but includes additional amounts. See how these benefits work:

Additional R$ 150

For families with children aged 0 to 6, there is a R$ 150 bonus, which has been in effect since March. With this extra amount, families can supplement their income by up to R$ 300.

It is worth highlighting that this amount covers a total of 8.9 million children who are part of the program, according to information from the MDS (Ministry of Development and Social Assistance, Family and Hunger Combat).

Benefit for adolescents, pregnant women and breastfeeding women

For family groups that include children between 7 and 18 years old, there is the possibility of receiving R$ 50 per person. In addition, the supplement also applies to pregnant and breastfeeding women.
