Great news for those who meet the established criteria. The process has been streamlined, and withdrawals can be made directly through the FGTS app, eliminating the need to visit bank branches and offering a faster, more convenient experience.
The right to withdraw the full amount of the PIS-PASEP account funds was granted to the account holders. In addition, even in cases of the account holder's death, legal beneficiaries are also entitled to withdraw the funds, ensuring the proper use of the resources.
Am I entitled to withdraw it?
To be entitled to withdraw the quotas, the individual must have worked with a formal employment record, in the private sector or as a public servant, between 1971 and 1988, provided that the withdrawal has not been made previously.
If workers do not withdraw their balances by the specified deadline, that is, by August 5, the funds will be transferred to the National Treasury. However, those who miss this opportunity need not worry, as they will still have 5 years to request the withdrawal again from the Union.
Access to additional resources can strengthen the economy and improve the financial lives of many citizens. Therefore, do not waste time, check your rights and take advantage of this opportunity!
How to make the withdrawal?
The available balance for withdrawal can be easily checked in the FGTS app (Android and iOS). In addition, beneficiaries can request the withdrawal and select the most convenient way to receive it in the same app.
In the event of the worker’s death, the beneficiary heir may request the withdrawal through the app, following the appropriate instructions and providing the requested documentation. This preserves the right to receive the funds.
It is important to remember that, if the worker has a PIS-PASEP account and qualifies for any FGTS withdrawal situation, the balance of that account will be released together with the FGTS. This represents an additional opportunity to access the funds.
