A new government initiative has benefited those enrolled in CadÚnico. If you are one of the many Brazilians who still use traditional satellite dishes to watch television, it is essential to be aware of the current transition. Soon, these dishes will stop working on the 3.5 GHz frequency to make room for the 5G signal.
To continue enjoying your favorite programs, replacing the old dish with a digital one will be mandatory. The Federal Government has announced the free distribution of kits to more families registered with CadÚnico. This will cover more than 1,600 Brazilian municipalities, benefiting more than half a million families so far.

The free digital satellite dish kit includes a digital satellite dish, a receiver, a remote control with batteries, and all the cables needed to connect the devices to the television. Siga Antenado technicians install it by scheduling a visit to the home to replace the equipment. It is essential to point out that the replacement is only possible if a conventional satellite dish is already installed and working.
This change is vital because the signals from conventional satellite dishes and 5G operate at the same frequency, which can cause interference and signal loss. With the expansion of the fifth generation of mobile networks across the country, kit distribution is expanding.
In addition to ensuring better audio and video quality, digital antennas allow families to continue enjoying diverse programming with higher quality. Therefore, stay alert to the transition and take advantage of the opportunity to obtain the free kit to ensure continued access to your favorite TV programming.
How to schedule the replacements
To schedule the replacement of the kits, two options are available:
- Call 0800 729 2404.
- Visit the program's official website and provide your personal details, CPF number, and Social Identification Number (NIS).
Siga Antenado (Spectrum Management Entity – EAF), in partnership with the Ministry of Communications (MCom) and the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel), is leading the digital antenna replacement effort.
So far, the schedule for kit replacement already covers:
- 529 municipalities in the Southeast Region;
- 529 in the South Region;
- 311 in the Northeast Region;
- 150 in the Central-West Region;
- 129 in the North Region.
To check whether your city is eligible to schedule the replacement of kits, simply access the Ministry of Communications website. There you will find the complete list of locations served. Don’t miss the opportunity to ensure continued access to TV programming with better quality.

The electricity bill is one of the main expenses that impact Brazilians’ budgets every month. Depending on electricity consumption, costs can make up a significant portion of the income of many workers.
The Social Electricity Tariff (TSEE) is a social program aimed at low-income families in Brazil. It was established in 2002 by Law No. 10,438 and is currently regulated by Law No. 12,212/2010 and Decree No. 7,583/2013.
With this, it is possible to obtain good discounts on the electricity bill. In some cases, the amount can be reduced by up to 65%. However, there are more specific situations in which the discount can reach 100%, reducing the amount payable to zero. Such reductions in the bill considerably ease the financial impact on beneficiaries.
The discounts granted by the program vary according to monthly electricity consumption. In short, the lower the consumption, the greater the reduction, making the benefit more advantageous for those who manage to save energy.
- Up to 30 kWh per month – 65%;
- From 31 kWh to 100 kWh – 40%;
- From 101 kWh to 220 kWh – 10%.
However, for Indigenous and quilombola families, the discounts can be even more significant. In these cases, the reduction
reaches 100%, which means that there will be no charge at all on the electricity bill.
However, it is essential to emphasize that this full discount is only granted when monthly consumption is no more than 50 kWh. For these communities, the Social Electricity Tariff (TSEE) program provides essential assistance to ease electricity costs and ensure access to this essential service.
