The October Bolsa Família payment schedule began on the 18th, which means that most families have already received the amount of benefit. Thus, this Tuesday the October schedule comes to an end, and all beneficiaries with a final NIS number of 0 should receive their payment.

As mentioned before, the schedule began on October 18; check when the remaining payments were made:
- NIS ending in 1 – October 18;
- NIS ending in 2 – October 19;
- NIS ending in 3 – October 20;
- NIS ending in 4 – October 23;
- NIS ending in 5 – October 24;
- NIS ending in 6 – October 25;
- NIS ending in 7 – October 26;
- NIS ending in 8 – October 27;
- NIS ending in 9 – October 30;
- Final NIS 0 – October 31.
October Bolsa Família updates
One of the major new developments this month is that families affected by adverse weather conditions were able to access the benefit earlier. In other words, all beneficiaries received the payment on the 18th, regardless of their NIS number.
The families who were able to receive it were those in the Amazon region, which suffered from drought. In addition, the southern part of the country, which was affected by a cyclone, was also entitled to the early benefit.
This government action aimed to minimize the impacts caused by nature so that families could buy food, water, and other essential items.
Additional Bolsa Família amount
In addition to advancing the payment for some beneficiaries, this month’s Bolsa Família distributed a new amount extra of R$ 50 to mothers of babies up to six months old. The amount was already included in this October payment, but it is not the only additional amount available; there are others, such as:
- BPI (Early Childhood Benefit): guarantees an extra amount of R$ 150 per child between zero and seven years old;
- BVF (Family Variable Benefit): additional R$ 50 for pregnant women, children, and adolescents between 7 and 18 years old;
- BRC (Citizenship Income Benefit): R$ 142 for each person in the family;
- BCO (Complementary Benefit): intended for families whose total benefits do not reach R$ 600;
- BET (Extraordinary Transition Benefit): used in specific cases where no beneficiary receives less than they received under the program.
