What is the amount of the new Bolsa Família from now on?
The minimum established amount was R$600.00; with the new Bolsa Família, the amount starts at R$650.00, depending on your classification.
Mothers of babies from zero to six months old, pregnant women, and children between 07 and 18 years old received an additional R$50.00, while families with children up to 06 years old received an additional R$150.00.
The estimated cost of this new program is approximately R$14 billion, according to the Ministry of Development and Social Assistance.
Is Bolsa Família integrated with other government systems?
Yes, and due to the integration of Bolsa Família with CNIS (National Social Information Registry), since July, approximately 297 thousand families have been excluded from the program for not meeting the standards established by the government.
On the other hand, approximately 241,000 families were included in October and are receiving this benefit. This inclusion was due to a restructuring of Suas (Unified Social Assistance System).
If I start working, will I lose the benefit?
If you start working, you will receive approximately R$374.00 for a period of 02 years. This rule came into effect in June and benefits program participants by helping them increase their monthly income.
I have unlocked installments. How should I withdraw them?
Starting this month, unlocked installments will be credited to the beneficiary's account, making it unnecessary to travel to a branch.
To find out whether your installment has been unlocked, simply check through the Caixa Tem or Bolsa Família apps.
