Caixa Econômica Federal has been updating the digital social savings account, and to avoid problems, beneficiaries must carry out these updates.
Since 2020, Caixa has used Caixa Tem to deposit amounts from Bolsa Família, Auxílio Gás, FGTS, and others, democratizing banking access for low-income families.
Currently, the app is undergoing several system updates. Therefore, it is essential that beneficiaries of these programs check their smartphones, ensuring that the updates have been completed so they do not lose their benefits in July.

Caixa Tem Updates
App users who manage transactions for Federal Government programs have several benefits. More than 26 functions can be performed digitally, without the need to visit a Caixa branch. Therefore, it is crucial that everyone keeps version 1.78 of Caixa Tem updated on their phones.
However, it is important to point out that the update is not mandatory, especially if your phone’s operating system does not support the new version. To update, look for your phone’s app store (Android, iOS).
What benefits can we access through the app?
The purpose of launching Caixa Tem was to facilitate access to banking services for the population. Thus, benefits such as Bolsa Família, Vale-Gás, salary bonus and many others are available in the app!
Among them, Bolsa Família is the one most used by the population – it currently pays R$600 to families, plus more than R$250 in additional installments, depending on the number of family members.

Are you having problems with the app?
It is normal for some people to encounter problems with the Caixa Tem app, such as forgetting their password or having their account blocked. You can solve these problems without leaving home. To unblock the app, simply download it, access your account and request the release of access by providing your personal documents.
On the other hand, to recover your password, on the login screen, select the “Recover password” option and follow the instructions sent to your email. This way, you will create a new password and be able to access your Caixa Tem app again.
