Recently, Instituto do Sigilo announced a portal to check the data of beneficiaries of the former Auxílio Brasil. It is important to point out that many people who received the benefit had their data leaked and may now receive R$ 15 thousand.
This amount refers to compensation for the victims of the case, since sensitive data such as their CPF, name, and address were exposed. See below for more details about the compensation.

R$ 15 thousand compensation from Auxílio Brasil
In September of this year, the Federal Court ordered a payment of R$ 15 thousand for all people who suffered from the data leak of the Auxílio Brasil. Despite this order, the measure may be subject to possible legal appeals.
Therefore, even though there is this order, there is no guarantee that the beneficiaries will actually receive the amount. However, it is possible to check whether you are entitled to the money through the portal.
When you access the page, simply click on the option “Check whether I am entitled” and enter your name, CPF, phone number, and email.
When will I receive the amount?
As stated before, there is no certainty that people will receive the money, although Instituto Sigilo highlights that the chances of success are good. As this is a legal process, it is important to point out that it may take some time before you receive the payment
Furthermore, if the compensation is upheld, the citizen must seek enforcement of the judgment when the case ends, with the help of a lawyer.
According to Instituto do Sigilo, around 471 thousand people may receive compensation, which means that they all went through the situation. However, the institute did not reveal how it gained access to this data.
Therefore, the organization's goal is to contact the OAB (Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil) to register lawyers who can offer assistance to those requesting compensation.
