Bolsa Família is expected to increase in August, although it depends on each situation.
Bolsa Família payments for July ended this week, and the government is now planning the August disbursements. Many aspects are still under discussion and remain undisclosed. However, the Ministry of Social Development has revealed some details.
One of these details is the likely increase in users' benefits in August. According to official data, the government will also resume the national Auxílio-gás. Thus, more citizens will receive more than usual.
Bolsa Família and Auxílio-gás amounts

For Bolsa Família, the government is expected to continue making payments of at least R$ 600 per family. These amounts may change depending on various characteristics. But the average should be around R$ 680, as happened in July.
As for the national Auxílio-gás, there is still no decision regarding the August payments. The amount will correspond to the average price of a 13-kilogram gas cylinder over the last six months. Without a decision, the expectation is to receive around R$ 110.
In practice, a user may receive around R$ 680 from Bolsa Família and R$ 110 from Auxílio-gás, totaling R$ 790. This amount exceeds what most people received in July, indicating that August payments may be higher.
Can I receive both?
There is no rule prohibiting the simultaneous receipt of Auxílio-gás and Bolsa Família payments. However, it is necessary to follow the rules for both benefits. The updated regulations are described below.
Bolsa Família:
To access Bolsa Família, it is necessary to maintain an active and updated account in Cadúnico. In addition, the per capita income must be up to R$ 218 per month.
National Auxílio-gás:
For National Auxílio-gás, it is also necessary to have an updated account in Cadúnico. In addition, the per capita income must be up to R$ 660 per month.
Lastly, the family must have at least one member receiving the Continuous Cash Benefit (BPC) from INSS. Women who are victims of violence and Bolsa Família recipients have priority.
The payment schedule

It is important to note that the national Auxílio-gás and Bolsa Família follow the same schedule. Thus, payments are released simultaneously starting on August 18.
- Users with NIS ending in 1: August 18 (Friday);
- Users with NIS ending in 2: August 21 (Monday);
- Users with NIS ending in 3: August 22 (Tuesday);
- Users with NIS ending in 4: August 23 (Wednesday);
- Users with NIS ending in 5: August 24 (Thursday);
- Users with NIS ending in 6: August 25 (Friday);
- Users with NIS ending in 7: August 28 (Monday);
- Users with NIS ending in 8: August 29 (Tuesday);
- Users with NIS ending in 9: August 30 (Wednesday);
- Users with NIS ending in 0: August 31 (Thursday).
To find out your payment date, check the last digit of your Social Identification Number. For example, users with NIS ending in 1 will receive the balance on August 18, according to the schedule.
