Adjustments to Minha Casa, Minha Vida property prices

At the CCFGTS meeting, the council approved an increase in the value of properties included in MCMV. Therefore, the price of the assets increased from R$264 thousand to R$350 thousand in all regions of Brazil.

The government forecasts an increase of 57,000 new contracts, in tier 3, for Minha Casa, Minha Vida properties, of which 40,000 are expected to occur in 2023 alone. In addition, a 12% increase is expected in contracts for families with an income of up to R$3,300.

Other changes

CCFGTS reports an adjustment to the subsidy amount for Minha Casa, Minha Vida properties, both for tier 1, people with a monthly income of up to R$2,640, and for tier 2, for those earning up to R$4,400 per month. In this regard, the government intends to grant subsidies of up to R$55,000.

Finally, it is important to emphasize that the subsidy works as a discount obtained by families benefiting from the program. Thus, the assistance for Minha Casa, Minha Vida property prices will be changed according to the beneficiary's income and the property's location.
