Starting today, several families will begin receiving an additional R$ 50 in their Caixa Tem accounts. This extra payment is specifically intended for families with babies aged 0 to 6 months, with the aim of improving the nutrition of breastfeeding mothers.

New benefit in Caixa Tem
The new benefit, known as Variable Family Benefit for Nursing Mothers, adds R$ 50 to the amounts distributed through Caixa Tem. Thus, families with children aged 0 to under 7 years also receive an extra R$ 150 through the Early Childhood Benefit.
In addition, there is another R$ 50 for families with children aged 7 to under 18 years, provided through the Variable Family Benefit. These resources are essential to ensure children's healthy development.
Bolsa Família received an adjustment
Although the minimum payment of the Bolsa Família program is R$ 600, the government's average payment is R$ 688.97 per beneficiary, indicating an increase of 0.30% compared to the previous month's average of R$ 686.89.
Thus, this adjustment is a way for the government to help families face the current economic situation.
The Bolsa Família payment schedule is organized according to the last digit of each beneficiary's Social Identification Number (NIS) beneficiary. Therefore, check the complete schedule for October:
