Nearly six million low-income Brazilians in the country are recipients of Gas Aid, which is intended to fully cover the purchase of a gas cylinder. Gas Aid returns to Brazilians this June, with the benefit being released every two months. The measure ensuring payments through the end of this year was recently enacted by the Federal Government.
Thus, the amount needed to purchase this essential item is available to families in situations of socioeconomic vulnerability. The benefit amount varies according to the average price of LPG in the country. In April, the aid was R$ 110 for nearly six million citizens.

According to the Gas Aid statement in the Caixa app, the benefit amount was reduced to R$ 109, that is, R$ 1 less. To obtain more information, beneficiaries have access to several channels provided.

The payment schedule for Gas Aid for June has already been released. The payment dates coincide with those of Bolsa Família and are determined based on the final digit of the NIS (Social Identification Number). Check it out:
