Unexpectedly, an extra R$ 150.00 became available in Caixa Tem this June. Let’s see who is entitled to this amount.
This June, around one million Bolsa Família beneficiaries are receiving an additional R$ 150.00. However, this bonus is intended only for those who had already been enrolled in the social program for at least six months in 2022. Therefore, not all beneficiaries will be able to claim this extra amount.

In addition to the historic maximum amount of R$ 689.45, Bolsa Família beneficiaries in Pernambuco will receive an additional R$ 150.00, corresponding to the program’s 13th payment. The government is paying this bonus according to the official schedule, based on the beneficiary holder’s final Número de Inscrição Social (NIS) number.

In addition to the guaranteed amount of R$ 600.00, Bolsa Família beneficiaries across the country are receiving other payments through Caixa Tem, depending on their family structure. Let’s see:
- Benefício Primeira Infância: grants R$ 150.00 per child up to six years old;
- Benefício Variável Familiar: provides R$ 50.00 to pregnant women and to children and adolescents aged 7 to under 18;
- National Gas Aid: provides R$ 109.00 for some families to buy a 13 kg cooking gas cylinder.
How to check the additional amount
To check whether you are entitled to the 13th Bolsa Família payment, simply access the Pernambuco State Treasury Department portal and provide the Social Registration Number (NIS) and the date of birth of the primary beneficiary. In addition, you can check the benefit through Caixa Tem (available for Android and iOS).
Finally, to withdraw Bolsa Família and the 13th payment from the social program, you can go to any branch of Caixa Econômica Federal, Casas Lotéricas, or Correspondentes Caixa Aqui. It is important to note that if the money is not moved within 90 days, it is returned to the Federal Government.
