With the rule changes to Minha Casa Minha Vida, the program's income brackets have been expanded. This news is excellent, as it will enable more people to access their own home.
But that was not the only thing that changed, as Bolsa Família and BPC (Continuous Cash Benefit) beneficiaries will no longer need to pay the installments of the housing program.

Who has priority to participate in the program?
As with other federal government programs, Minha Casa Minha Vida focuses on people in situations of social vulnerability, such as:
- Women who are heads of households;
- People with disabilities;
- People experiencing homelessness;
- People affected by a calamity;
- Women who are victims of domestic violence;
- People involuntarily displaced due to federal public works.
