Payment of the first installment of the INSS 13th salary ended this June. Keep an eye on the next date!
The Federal Government brought forward the 13th salary payment to insured beneficiaries of the National Institute of Social Security (INSS). Thus, Brazilians began receiving the first installment of the amount in May. Now, starting in June, the remaining amount will be paid to those who are entitled to it.

It is important to note that the 13th salary is not intended for all Brazilians served by the INSS, but rather for those who receive retirement benefits, accident assistance, death pension, temporary incapacity assistance or incarceration assistance.
Previously, the INSS 13th salary used to be deposited only in the second half of the year. However, in recent years, the payments have been brought forward to between May and July for millions of Brazilians.
Payment of the 2nd installment of the INSS 13th salary
The payment schedule for the second installment of the INSS year-end bonus is divided into two groups: those who receive more than one minimum wage (R$ 1,320) and those who receive an amount equivalent to the national minimum wage.
For the release of the second installment, the schedule is the same as that for regular benefit deposits. Check it out:
Beneficiaries who receive R$ 1,320:
- Ending in 1: June 26;
- Ending in 2: June 27;
- Ending in 3: June 28;
- Ending in 4: June 29;
- Ending in 5: June 30;
- Ending in 6: July 3;
- Ending in 7: July 4;
- Ending in 8: July 5;
- Ending in 9: July 6;
- Ending in 0: July 7.
Beneficiaries who receive more than R$ 1,320:
- Ending in 1 and 6: July 3;
- Ending in 2 and 7: July 4;
- Ending in 3 and 8: July 5;
- Ending in 4 and 9: July 6;
- Ending in 5 and 0: July 7.
INSS year-end bonus inquiry
Beneficiaries can check the payment information for the year-end bonus through Meu INSS, a platform available for Android and iOS. Just follow these steps:
- Log in to the platform;
- Look for “Payment statement” on the home screen;
- Check information such as month, amount, status and expected payment date.
