Furthermore, payments for this benefit coincide with the Bolsa Família payment dates, which serves an even larger group registered in the Single Registry (CadÚnico). It is important to mention that not everyone registered receives Auxílio-Gás, since it is intended for a more specific group, including those who receive Bolsa Família and the Continuous Cash Benefit (BPC).
During this period, two groups will receive their payments in advance. The amount is determined based on the national average price of a 13-kilogram gas cylinder, according to data from the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP).
Procedure for withdrawing the amounts
To withdraw the amounts, beneficiaries have practical alternatives:
CAIXA Tem app – Through this tool, the amounts are managed, thus avoiding trips to a bank to make withdrawals;
Program card – Additionally, the card linked to the program can be used for purchases in stores, using debit. Withdrawals are also possible at ATMs, lottery outlets, CAIXA Aqui locations, and CAIXA branches.
The Caixa Tem software
As mentioned, beneficiaries can use the scheme's virtual debit card to make purchases at markets, bakeries, drugstores, and other locations via QR Code. In addition, this feature is active at around nine million terminals in Brazil.
The app also enables transfers via PIX and bill payments such as water, electricity, telephone, and others.
Furthermore, the software allows users to generate a code for withdrawals at lottery outlets, CAIXA Aqui locations, and ATMs. These options give beneficiaries flexibility to access their funds quickly and according to their convenience.
