- First, organize all your family’s documents, in addition to your own. Don’t forget to separate proof of income and residence;
- Then, go to the CRAS where you registered with CadÚnico, bringing all the necessary documents;
- Talk to the attendant about your benefit being blocked and try to understand the reason. If it is merely a precautionary measure by the system, the attendant may undo the block and you will have to wait. However, if there is any irregularity in the registration, you will need to correct what is “wrong” and then return to the CRAS and request Bolsa Família again.
What could be the cause of the block?
In many situations, the Government blocks the Bolsa Família registration when it identifies suspected fraud. That is, if your family has an income that prevents it from receiving this assistance, the benefit may be suspended.

Besides this case, other factors may lead to the benefit being blocked:
- If there are children in the family who do not attend school regularly, the benefit may be blocked;
- If the children are not being vaccinated according to the recommended age schedule, the benefit may be suspended;
- If you stated that you live alone, when in fact you live with other family members, the benefit may also be blocked;
- Another factor is outdated registration information, because if you have not updated your family's information in CadÚnico in the last two years, Bolsa Família will be blocked until the next update.
