The Government formulated rules for access to the funds. When the Federal Government implemented reforms to the Bolsa Família program, beneficiaries became uneasy about the beginning of the new month. However, many remain uncertain whether they will continue to receive the money, due to a detailed review carried out in the Cadastro Único (CadÚnico).
Initially, the month of August promises to bring reductions to the program. In fact, several family units may lose the assistance. In some cases, there may be a block or suspension, as in past months, causing alarm.

Similarly, the Ministry of Social Development issued a statement examining information from registered families. The agency wishes to ensure that only those who truly need it obtain federal resources.
In summary, family units that do not meet the requirements of Bolsa Família may have their benefit revoked. This action may be positive, as it will allow other economically vulnerable families, who still do not receive assistance, to be included.

In July, Bolsa Família experienced a decrease in the average benefit amounts. This happened because several families stopped receiving the funds, and new beneficiaries were included in the federal registry.
This is expected to continue in August, with the new federal verification in CadÚnico. In fact, the Ministry carries out a monthly analysis of the data with Dataprev's support.
The agency then quickly confirms compliance with Bolsa Família's rules. If it detects any irregularity, the family representative will be summoned to CRAS.
For example, if a family exceeds the permitted income, the government will cut Bolsa Família benefits. The same will happen if CadÚnico has not been updated for two years.

Therefore, families must have a per capita income of up to R$218 to enter the program. To continue, they must meet specific health and education requirements.
To receive Bolsa Família, pregnant women must properly undergo prenatal care, children up to six years old need nutritional monitoring, and vaccinations must be up to date, in addition to school attendance between the ages of 7 and 18.

Initially, the base Bolsa Família payment is R$600. The Government established bonuses of R$150 for children up to six years old, and R$50 for nursing mothers and people aged 7 to 18.
The Government established criteria for the new Bolsa Família, distinguishing it from the previous Auxílio Brasil. It insists that it wants to ensure that families meet health and education requirements to receive the program's monthly payments.
