Bolsa Família beneficiaries: Check the payment schedule for mid-July (18/07) now!

Next Tuesday, the 18th, marks the official start of July payments for Bolsa Família. In general, the more than 21 million beneficiaries are expected to receive amounts quite similar to the payments from the previous month. However, a specific group of families will only have access to half the amount.

This group is made up of families whose income has increased significantly, exceeding the Bolsa Família threshold. As a result, the new Protection Rule includes them, allowing them to receive the benefit without blocks, but reducing the amount by half.

As mentioned before, families that exceed the program's income threshold but still remain within a certain income level fall under the Protection Rule. This rule allows them to receive the benefit, but with only half the original amount.

It is worth remembering that there is no list containing the names of the families that will receive only half the benefit in July. The reason is the large number of Bolsa Família beneficiaries. However, by understanding the rules, it is possible to identify the families that may receive a lower amount.

Currently, the Ministry of Development and Social Assistance, Family and Hunger Relief (MDS) establishes a maximum monthly income of R$ 218 per person in the family as an eligibility criterion. This maximum income allows families to be included in the program's monthly payments.

Bolsa Família payment schedule

July Bolsa Família payments will begin on the 18th, taking into account the last digit of each beneficiary's NIS, and will end on the 31st. Bolsa Família guarantees a minimum amount of R$ 600 per month for all assisted families.

According to the Ministry of Social Development, in March the program added a bonus of R$ 150 per child up to six years old. In addition, since June, the program has offered an additional R$ 50 for families with children between seven and 18 years old and pregnant women. Check the July payment schedule:

Bolsa Família beneficiaries can use the Caixa TEM app, available for Android and iOS, to manage the amount received. They can also withdraw money at ATMs, lottery outlets, Caixa Aqui correspondents and Caixa branches.
