Bolsa Família, a financial support mechanism in Brazil, serves approximately 20 million households. However, regular checks are carried out by the federal government in the Cadastro Único (CadÚnico).

Registration Review and Interruptions

Initiated in March, the review has already led to the blocking of more than 2 million enrollees and the permanent removal of 700,000.
With the resumption of the review in July, further blocks may occur in August.
Block notifications are sent through apps such as Cadastro Único, Caixa Tem, and Bolsa Família. Additionally, enrollees can check their status on Caixa's Citizen Portal.
After the block, the Family Representative has 60 days to update their information at CRAS. Failure to do so will result in the loss of Bolsa Família.
If they update their information at CRAS, enrollees will have the benefit reinstated in Caixa Tem. Thus, retroactive payments may be received, according to MDS.
Conditional Rules and Interruptions
Bolsa Família imposes specific rules. Noncompliance may lead to temporary blocks or permanent removal.
These rules are:
- Minimum school attendance of 60% for children aged 4 to 5.
- Minimum school attendance of 75% for children and adolescents aged 6 to 18.
- Nutritional monitoring for children up to six years old.
- The family's vaccination records must be up to date.
- Prenatal care for pregnant women.
Payment Schedule in August for Bolsa Família
Caixa confirmed the August payment, deposited into Caixa Tem within the last ten business days.
The schedule is:
- Final NIS digit 1: August 18
- Final NIS digit 2: August 21 (brought forward to Saturday, 19)
- Final NIS digit 3: August 22
- Final NIS digit 4: August 23
- Final NIS digit 5: August 24
- Final NIS digit 6: August 25
- Final NIS digit 7: August 28 (brought forward to Saturday, 26)
- Final NIS digit 8: August 29
- Final NIS digit 9: August 30

Beneficiaries can withdraw funds at Caixa branches, lottery outlets, or ATMs. The Caixa Tem app also offers payment and transfer options.
