Where will the BPC campaign be held?

Teresina
In Teresina, the event will be held at Avenida João XXII, 3231, in the São Cristóvão neighborhood. There, beneficiaries will be able to undergo medical examinations and the idea is to provide 390 services over the weekend.
Parnaiba
In Parnaíba, professionals will serve the population at Rua Humberto de Campos, 512, in the city center. Thus, the estimate is to carry out 90 social assessments, which will evaluate BCP requests for people with disabilities.
What is BPC?
The BPC pays a minimum wage to people with disabilities, regardless of age, and to seniors aged 65 or over. However, the beneficiary must prove, through a medical examination, that he or she cannot fully participate in society.
It is important to note that this benefit is not a retirement benefit, which means that in order to receive it, it is not necessary to have paid into social security. In order to receive the amount, it is necessary to prove a per capita income equal to or less than a quarter of the minimum wage.
New benefit
Last month, a new benefit began to be available to these beneficiaries: exemption from installments of Minha Casa Minha Vida.
This is because the federal government announced that BPC and Bolsa Família beneficiaries who signed a contract by September 28 will already be exempt from future installments of the program.
