Voa Brasil is a new program announced by the government, led by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, which promises to revolutionize access to air travel in the country.
Scheduled to launch on February 5, as announced by the Minister of Ports and Airports, Silvio Costa Filho, this initiative aims to make airline tickets available for a maximum price of R$ 200.

This effort is especially aimed at those who have not traveled by plane in the last 12 months. In other words, the focus is on democratizing access to air travel and promoting mobility within the national territory.

Program goals
Voa Brasil's goal is to initially benefit a group of 20.8 million INSS retirees who receive up to two minimum wages. In addition, around 600,000 students participating in the University for All Program (Prouni) are also expected to be included.
This group, totaling just over 21 million people, represents a significant portion of the population that will have a new opportunity to experience air travel, many of them for the first time.
In other words, the program not only aims to facilitate access to travel for a considerable portion of the population, but also to stimulate the national airline industry.
Alongside the implementation of “Voa Brasil,” the government plans to create a fund of up to R$ 6 billion to finance the country's airlines.
Beware of the Voa Brasil scam
Although Voa Brasil has not even been launched yet, criminals are already taking advantage of the initiative to carry out scams. So, it is a good idea to stay alert, as scammers make contact through messages, links, and even phone calls.
In other words, the websites being circulated through links and social media are fake and end up stealing victims' personal data and money.
Therefore, the Ministry of Ports and Airports is not registering people, nor is it asking them for money to participate in the program. This information is false and is part of a scam.
In addition, the ministry also emphasized in a statement that once the program is in effect, the government will not contact people directly, nor will it use intermediaries to make registration available.
