Gas Aid is a federal government program designed to help low-income families purchase a 13 kg cooking gas cylinder. Currently, the benefit provides an amount equivalent to 100% of the national average price of the cylinder.

How can I check the Gas Aid amount using my CPF?
To find out whether your application was approved, you can check it using your CPF. Just follow these steps:
- Download the Bolsa Família app (Android and iOS);
- Click “Access”;
- Enter your Bolsa Família password;
- Enter your CPF;
- Click “Next”;
- Check the code sent to your registered email;
- Enter the code in the field that appears on the screen;
- Click “Log in”;
- Click “Benefits”;
- Done! Now just check whether the amount is there.
Who can receive the benefit?
To receive the Gas Aid amount, the beneficiary must be registered with CadÚnico with data updated less than two years ago. In addition, the monthly family income per person must be equal to or less than half the minimum wage.
Not being a beneficiary of BPC (Continuous Cash Benefit) is also one of the requirements.
About Auxílio Gás
Auxílio Gás is paid every other month, following the same schedule as Bolsa Família. Thus, beneficiaries can receive the bimonthly payment in Caixa’s digital social account.
Therefore, to access this account, simply download the Caixa Tem app (Android and iOS) and manage your payment without leaving home!
