The Federal Government recently announced the Bolsa Família payment schedule for July, incorporating the new value table. Over time, the program has undergone several reformulations, with the express purpose of offering additional benefits to participants.

Nationally, Bolsa Família stands out as the most comprehensive income distribution program in Brazil, providing assistance to approximately 21 million people every month. To qualify, individuals must be in the low-income category and be registered with CadÚnico (the Federal Government's Single Registry).

Below, we will present more details about the new Bolsa Família table and the ways to access the new amounts.

Federal Government reveals new Bolsa Família table

Since the beginning of 2023, a collaboration between the Federal Government and the Ministry of Social Development (MDS) has established the payment of R$$ 600 per family. This sets the minimum payment that all registrants must receive from this year onwards.

However, over time, the program underwent other changes. In March, the MDS approved an additional R$ 150 for families with children up to 6 years old. Recently, a new bonus was introduced, with the aim of guaranteeing a larger income for families.

From this point on, new groups will be entitled to an increase of R$ 50 in the monthly benefit. See who the beneficiaries are:

  • Pregnant women;
  • Nursing mothers;
  • Children aged 7 to 12;
  • Teenagers aged 13 to 18 years old.

It is worth noting, however, that the payment is cumulative. This means that a single family may be entitled to several increases, depending on its composition. To illustrate, a family with a pregnant woman, a child up to 6 years old and a teenager up to 17 years old will receive a total of R$$ 850, when adding the minimum amount and the increases for each member.

How can I ensure that I receive the increases?

To ensure that you receive Bolsa Família and the additional benefits, it is essential to keep your CadÚnico data up to date. Through this registry, the Federal Government is able to identify families entitled to the benefit.

Therefore, it is possible that a family entitled to the Bolsa Família bonus may not yet receive the increases. If this is your situation, we suggest you contact the CRAS (Social Assistance and Reference Center) to update your registration data and start receiving the full benefit.

All registrants have the duty to update CadÚnico at two specific times:

  • When there is a change in family information, such as income, number of family members, address, telephone number, among others;
  • Every two years, even when there are no changes to family information.

July Payment Schedule

The Bolsa Família payment schedule for July already adopts the new values established by the Federal Government, in partnership with the MDS. In addition, beneficiaries can now check the payment date.
