January brings encouraging news for single mothers participating in Bolsa Família. This month, they will have the opportunity to receive double the benefit. This measure, which was already implemented the previous year, continues to provide essential financial support to many families. Thus, with the aim of easing economic difficulties, especially in uncertain times, the government reaffirms its commitment to single mothers by guaranteeing them additional financial support.
This extra benefit applies to specific components of Bolsa Família. It includes the Early Childhood Benefit, which offers R$ 150 per child up to six years old, and the Family Variable Benefit, which provides R$ 50 for nursing mothers, pregnant women, and young people between seven and eighteen years old. In this way, these additional amounts are an extension of Provisional Measure No. 1,164 and represent a significant step in supporting single mothers facing financial challenges.

Bolsa Família payment dates in January
Single mothers and other Bolsa Família beneficiaries already have set dates to receive these amounts in January. To check the payment date, it is important to consult the final digit of the Social Identification Number (NIS). Therefore, the payment schedule is organized based on this number, ensuring an orderly and efficient distribution of benefits. The dates range from January 18 to January 31, depending on the last digit of the NIS.
Positive impact for families
Receiving double the Bolsa Família payment is more than temporary financial relief for single mothers. Therefore, it represents recognition of the difficulties faced by these women and an effort to provide them with greater economic stability. In this way, this support is important, especially considering the current context of post-pandemic economic recovery. In addition, with this measure, the government demonstrates its dedication to supporting the most vulnerable families, ensuring that single mothers can care for their families with a little more financial peace of mind.
