Since October 9, Desenrola Brasil has entered a new phase of the debt renegotiation project. Therefore, since then, the official platform has been available to Brazilians for negotiating debts of up to R$ 5,000.

The average discount at this stage of the program reached 83%, and may be as high as 96% depending on the case. So, check out more details about this news below!

Who can participate in Desenrola Brasil?

Desenrola Brasil may be an option for all Brazilians with a monthly income of up to two minimum wages, that is, R$ 2,640, or registered with the CadÚnico. Therefore, approximately 32 million people will be able to renegotiate their debts.

The program prioritizes debts of up to R$ 5,000, whether bank-related or not, between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2022. So, if you are part of this group, don't waste time!

It is worth noting that you need to have a silver- or gold-level gov.br account to negotiate a debt. This measure aims to ensure people's security.

Program payment terms

Debts ranging from R$ 5,000 to R$ 20,000 must be paid in full, as they are not guaranteed by the National Treasury through the FGP (Operations Guarantee Fund).

As mentioned before, the average discount on debts in general was R$ 421, but debts of up to R$ 5,000 have an average discount of R$ 259.

In the latter case, consumers can also pay the amount in up to 60 installments with interest of 1.99% per month. In other words, a great opportunity to clear their name.

Even the higher debts, between R$ 5,000 and R$ 20,000, have a great average discount, reaching R$ 1,386.

Therefore, the payment options, in general, are:

  • Pix;
  • Bank slip;
  • Direct debit from a checking account;
  • Pay directly on the program's platform.

It is worth noting that consumers need to assess whether installments will be available.
