This statement came at a time when the Central Bank is discussing abusive credit card interest rates. In other words, since the feature already has a scheduling function, allowing you to set the transaction time, the idea is to add the automatic debit function to Pix next year.
Pix without internet
Another new development is that next year Pix will be able to be used without an internet connection. Campos Neto stated that the feature has grown a lot in recent years, with adoption being faster than expected.

Furthermore, he highlighted that the use of tool favored the financial sector in terms of competitiveness.
Campos Neto remains hopeful for the new developments involving the resource and highlights that Pix is “a piece of a much larger plan” and adds that “we have a very interesting path to follow”.
