A government decision brings Pix R$ 850 directly to Brazilians. This action is part of a series of interventions aimed at residents of municipalities in critical states, whether due to calamity or emergency. In addition, there will be the delivery of basic food and health kits.
Of the 62 municipalities in Amazonas, 58 are facing an emergency due to persistent drought. As such, the government has established a group of urgent actions to support residents impacted by the lack of rainfall and the reduction of rivers.

One of the measures includes a Pix of R$$ 850 and another of R$$ 800, which the government will deposit into individuals' accounts. However, to qualify, citizens must meet specific criteria related to income and housing.

Who is eligible for the government's Pix R$ 850?
The Pix of R$ 850, promoted by the government, aims to benefit farmers, extractivists and fishermen affected by the drought. However, to qualify, individuals need to prove a monthly income of 1.5 minimum wages (R$ 1,980).
The amount of R$ 800, on the other hand, is intended for 200 residents of Beruri affected by a landslide. This amount serves as temporary support for those unable to return to their homes.

The Pix of R$ 850 does not constitute the only financial contribution that the government will make to the people of Amazonas.
The executive also announced the anticipation of transfers of essential social programs. Therefore, Bolsa Família beneficiaries in the region will have the resource available on October 19. Those linked to BPC, in turn, will receive the amount on October 25.
