This amount reaches this figure because the Ministry of Social Development (MDS) uses certain criteria to determine the Bolsa Família amount.
Thus, one of these criteria establishes that each member of the beneficiary family receives R$ 142. Taking only this criterion into account, a household with 7 members receives R$ 994 through Bolsa Família. It is also essential to keep the Single Registry (CadÚnico) updated every two years, and the per capita income cannot exceed R$ 218. Finally, this month's payments began on the 18th and will continue until the 31st, serving a specific group each day.
