Last Tuesday (27), Caixa Econômica Federal presented a new debt renegotiation campaign to the public, named “Tudo em Dia na Caixa”. This initiative aims to benefit more than 4.7 million customers. Of these, approximately 4.3 million are individuals and 398 thousand are companies, all potentially benefiting from the campaign.

Additionally, Caixa is offering generous discounts to those in debt. They will have the opportunity to receive reductions of up to 90% to settle overdue credit. Another possibility is to negotiate a mortgage using the FGTS balance. So, explore more details about Caixa’s campaign below!
Tudo em Dia na Caixa
The campaign plans to allow companies to consolidate their contracts into a single payment. They will have the option of paying in installments over up to 96 months. Individuals, on the other hand, also have this term, but must make an initial payment of at least 10% of the total amount owed.
In the case of credit card debts, companies with bills that are more than 69 days overdue will be included. It is worth noting that, for all cases of debt covered by the campaign, discounts start at 40% and may be even higher for those who choose to pay the full amount upfront.
How can FGTS be applied to the negotiation?
Caixa account holders who have debts under a housing contract can use their FGTS balance in the negotiation. With the amount accumulated in the Fund, they can pay off up to 80% of the monthly mortgage payment, provided that the outstanding balance includes up to 6 overdue installments.
Additionally, by using FGTS, it will be possible to pay off the debt for necessary charges. Finally, with the contracts renegotiated, the names will be removed from credit restriction records within up to five business days after the agreement is confirmed, upon payment of the bill.
How can I participate in the campaign?
Those who are interested can visit a Caixa branch or look for the itinerant trucks parked in public locations in various cities. However, the campaign is also available digitally.
