  • Band 2: individuals with per capita income between half the minimum wage and R$20,000, who acquired debts exclusively with banking institutions up until December 31 of the previous year.

Who is already eligible to restructure debt through Desenrola?

The Desenrola program was officially activated last July. However, at this initial stage, only individuals who fall into Band 2 can receive assistance through the system. For these individuals, it is sufficient to contact the bank that originated the debt and proceed with a negotiation directly.

When does the new stage of Desenrola begin?

The Ministry of Finance announced that the next segment of Desenrola will be activated the following week. Starting on Monday (25), the government will begin the auction of creditors, in which it will select institutions that offer the best benefits.

When will Track 1 start being watched?

There is no definitive deadline for the start of negotiations for the Desenrola program. Representatives from the Ministry of Finance expect the first agreements for Faixa 1 to be finalized in the first week of October.

Can Bolsa Família beneficiaries register with Desenrola?

Yes. The federal government has confirmed that Bolsa Família beneficiaries will be eligible for the Desenrola program, especially since Faixa 1 focuses on individuals in situations of social vulnerability. Those who used the program's payroll loan and went into debt will also be guaranteed participation.

What are the debt settlement options?

The Ministry of Finance clarified that the alternatives for settling the debt will depend on the outcome of the creditors' auction scheduled for next week. In general terms, the citizen will be able to choose to settle the amount in full with a reduction, or in up to 60 installments, with rates of up to 1.99% per month.

If the individual chooses to pay in installments, they will need to define which bank they will use to make these payments. All these steps will be carried out within the Desenrola platform.
