The Human Rights Commission (CDH) of the Federal Senate approved a bill aimed at including women subjected to domestic violence in the Bolsa Família Program. Senator Zenaide Maia (PSD-RN) drafted Bill (PL) 3,324/2023, which will now be sent for evaluation by the Economic Affairs Commission (CAE).
The bill establishes that women experiencing domestic violence and their dependents will become eligible for immediate inclusion in the Bolsa Família Program if there is a need for the benefit. Furthermore, when leaving the program, these women will receive guaranteed priority for re-enrollment if they need support again.

Fight Against Domestic Violence
