Minha Casa Minha Vida has gained 17 new plots of land, this time in the Central and North zones of Rio de Janeiro. Thus, these new units will cover Band 1 of the program, that is, families with incomes of up to R$2,640.
Os terrenos têm capacidade para receber 418 novas unidades e a prefeitura escolheu os terrenos porque ficam próximo de equipamentos públicos e serviços para a população. Assim, veja mais detalhes a respeito do programa habitacional do governo.

How do I register for My Home My Life?
The process may vary depending on each family's income bracket. In the case of Bracket 1, people must access the government's housing plan to register, which can be done at city halls.
Já no caso das faixas 1 e 2, o interessado deve buscar uma entidade organizadora que participe do Minha Casa Minha Vida. Além disso, entrar em contato com a Federal Savings Bank também é uma opção.
What are the income brackets for My Home My Life?
It is important to highlight that the income ranges of the housing program are divided into urban and rural:
Urban areas
- First band: monthly income of up to R$ 2,640;
- Second band: monthly income from R$ 2,640.01 to R$ 4,400
- Third band: monthly income from R$ 4,400.01 to R$ 8,000.
Rural areas
- First band: annual income of up to R$31,680;
- Second band: annual income from R$ 31,608.01 to R$ 52,800
- Third band: annual income from R$ 52,800 to R$ 96,000.
In addition, another new development may be about to happen, as the government is studying the possibility of extending the income brackets even further. The measure, if it comes into effect, will make the dream of owning a home available to more people.
