Bolsa Família is a benefit for low-income people enrolled in the CadÚnico. In October, the federal government blocked almost 5 thousand beneficiaries in Juiz de Fora due to registration inconsistencies.
It is important to mention that since January the Ministry of Social Development has been reviewing CadÚnico data, so that only those who really need it remain on the payroll.

Blocking of Bolsa Família
The beneficiaries who had their benefits blocked in Juiz de Fora are, for the most part, people who live alone and did not meet the necessary requirements to receive them.
It is worth noting that beneficiaries whose benefits are blocked will receive a message asking them to contact the CadÚnico department to update their statements. This is because the government often cuts off payments because the information is not up to date.

So, if you receive a message like this, go to a service center with a photo ID and proof of residence. When you update your information, you will start receiving the payments again.
Therefore, it can be concluded that the government's action is a reorganization of Bolsa Família, something that was already planned since Lula assumed the presidency.
Program review
Cuts like this have been happening since the government began the CadÚnico fine-tooth comb operation. The action consists of identifying which beneficiaries are receiving payments unduly. As of March of this year, 2.5 million beneficiaries were receiving payments irregularly.
Of this number, 1.4 million have already been excluded and the rest will be by the end of this year. However, there are cases where families forget to update the information as often as necessary and stop receiving it.
So, if you receive any notification, update your data as soon as possible to avoid losing your rights.
