The National Social Security Institute (INSS) has announced the extension of compensation for the employees' strike until September 30 of the current year. The aim of this action is to minimize the consequences of the strike and ensure that beneficiaries do not suffer losses.

The National Federation of Unions of Workers in Health, Labor, Social Security and Social Assistance (Fenasps) is at the forefront of defending the rights of public servants.

The organization points out that the number of benefit reviews carried out by public servants surpassed the previous year's figure, reaching significant levels in 2022.

INSS extends strike compensation until September

With these figures in hand, Fenasps reaffirms that the strike has already paid off and will continue fighting for the work stoppage to be officially recognized as such.

According to the Social Security Statistical Report (BEPS), in 2021, the INSS completed the analysis and processing of approximately 9,349,147 benefits. However, in 2022, this number jumped to 10,325,985, representing a 10% increase in benefit analysis.

These figures reflect the significant efforts of the INSS team to manage the growing demand and ensure that benefits are granted to insured individuals.

INSS strike: benefit reviews gain prominence

It is important to emphasize that the strike, which began last year, was triggered by a lack of resources to cover payments of employee benefits. In this context, the extension of strike compensation by the INSS represents an attempt to resolve outstanding issues and prevent further problems for insured individuals.

Thus, it is expected that the parties involved will find effective answers to the issues raised. The focus should remain on seeking improvements to the social security system, ensuring the quality of the services provided and respect for the rights of INSS beneficiaries.
