The government of Pernambuco announces a special benefit for mothers enrolled in Bolsa Família: an additional monthly payment of R$1,400 through the Mães de Pernambuco program.

A Special Gift for Bolsa Família Mothers
This benefit will be made available by the program Mothers of Pernambuco, providing financial support to more than 100,000 female heads of households in the state. See the program's objectives:
- Increase the income of mothers registered with Bolsa Família, combating poverty and social inequality;
- Help with expenses for food, childcare and other items essential for family well-being;
- Recognize the importance of mothers in the development of children and in building a better future for the state.
Payment Start Date
The first payment from Mães de Pernambuco, in the amount of R$ 300, is scheduled for May 13, one day after Mother's Day.
Starting in June, the benefit will be paid on the fifth business day of each month. By the end of the year, the amount will total R$1,400, providing significant assistance to beneficiaries.
Program Eligibility Criteria
To receive the additional benefit of R$ 300, mothers must meet the following criteria:
- Reside in Pernambuco;
- Be a Bolsa Família beneficiary and keep your registration up to date;
- Being the family leader;
- Being pregnant, being a mother or being responsible for children aged 0 to 6 years;
- Not having a formal job or income.
Procedures for Receiving the Extra Benefit
It is not necessary to register again to receive the additional R$ 300, as the program uses data from Bolsa Família.
However, it is essential to access the benefit's official website to confirm participation and ensure receipt of the amounts.
The Mães de Pernambuco program represents important financial support for single mothers who receive Bolsa Família benefits in the state.
