Registration for My Home My Life ends this week

Registration for this year's Minha Casa Minha Vida in Porto Alegre ends on the 22nd, this Friday. So, anyone who wants to register in time should access the website to register. It is worth noting that in November of this year, nine areas of the city were chosen to receive the program's constructions. 

Therefore, Porto Alegre will soon receive 1,212 new housing units from the program. See below how to register for the program and check the income brackets.

How do I register for My Home My Life? 

The process may vary depending on each family's income bracket. In the case of Bracket 1, people must access the government's housing plan to register at city halls. 

In the case of bands 1 and 2, the interested party must seek an organizing entity that participates in Minha Casa Minha Vida. Contacting Caixa Econômica Federal is also an option. 

What are the income brackets for My Home My Life?

It is important to highlight that the income ranges of the housing program are divided into urban and rural, check out how it works:

Urban areas

  • First band: monthly income of up to R$ 2,640;
  • Second band: monthly income from R$ 2,640.01 to R$ 4,400
  • Third band: monthly income from R$ 4,400.01 to R$ 8,000. 

Rural areas 

  • First band: annual income of up to R$31,680;
  • Second band: annual income from R$ 31,608.01 to R$ 52,800
  • Third band: annual income from R$ 52,800 to R$ 96,000. 

In addition, another new development may be about to happen, as the government is studying the possibility of extending the income brackets even further. The measure, if it comes into effect, will make the dream of owning a home available to more people.
