The approaching Bolsa Família payments in July have led many beneficiaries to access the official app to check this month’s amounts. However, many of the 21 million beneficiaries encounter problems when trying to check the amounts, with the app “not showing anything”.
Although serious, this situation happens almost every month before Bolsa Família payments. This is because the Ministry of Development and Social Assistance updates the app’s data before the transfers, causing instability. In addition, the high number of simultaneous accesses can cause this type of problem.

The purpose of this update in the Bolsa Família app is to provide the database and payment information for each month. This allows beneficiaries to know how much they will be able to withdraw and the official dates when payments will be released by Caixa Econômica Federal.

However, Bolsa Família has many beneficiaries, which means that the amount of data to be updated is massive. Therefore, the Ministry of Development updates this data gradually during the week before payments begin. That is why some beneficiaries do not find the payment amounts when they check the app.
July payment schedule
Benefit payments usually take place during the last 10 business days of July. Payments are made according to the last digit of each beneficiary's NIS (Social Identification Number). See the calendar:
- July 18 – Beneficiaries with NIS ending in 1
- July 19 – Beneficiaries with NIS ending in 2
- July 20 – Beneficiaries with NIS ending in 3
- July 21 – Beneficiaries with NIS ending in 4
- July 24 – Beneficiaries with NIS ending in 5
- July 25 – Beneficiaries with NIS ending in 6
- July 26 – Beneficiaries with NIS ending in 7
- July 27 – Beneficiaries with NIS ending in 8
- July 28 – Beneficiaries with NIS ending in 9
- July 31 – Beneficiaries with NIS ending in 0
It is worth noting that Bolsa Família now includes new additional benefits. Therefore, these payments continue in July for families that meet the government's requirements.
Bolsa Família Additional Benefits
Bolsa Família includes the Early Childhood Benefit, which pays an extra R$ 150 for each child up to six years old in the beneficiary family. In addition, the social program also offers the Family Variable Benefit. This benefit pays an extra R$ 50 to families with pregnant women, children under seven months old, and young people aged 7 to 18.

In addition, the program pays the Citizenship Income Benefit, guaranteeing a minimum of R$ 142 for each member of beneficiary families. However, the minimum Bolsa Família amount remains R$ 600, as established by the government at the beginning of the year. Therefore, if the family is small and does not reach R$ 600 through the Citizenship Income Benefit, the amount will be supplemented by the Complementary Benefit.
