Big surprise: Popular car arrives with an incredible and unbeatable price!

Buying a popular car for less than R$ 60,000 was considered almost impossible in Brazil less than two weeks ago. However, after the publication of a Provisional Measure (MP) by the Federal Government, allowing vehicle prices to be reduced, the situation improved and some automakers are already selling models for less than R$ 60,000.

A famous example is the Renault Kwid, which is being advertised on the automaker's websites for R$ 58,990. This represents a reduction of R$ 10,000 compared with the original price two weeks ago. This reduction surprised many consumers, who are excited about the possibility of purchasing the vehicle.

The MP published by the Federal Government establishes that the reductions range from R$ 2,000 to R$ 8,000, depending on the car model. In the case of the Renault Kwid, the reduction was R$ 10,000, because in addition to the R$ 8,000 offered by the Ministry of Finance, the automaker granted an additional R$ 2,000 discount. The intention is to attract consumers as quickly as possible.

It is worth noting that, even with the price reduction, Renault did not remove any features or advantages from the original car. All features were maintained, even with a R$ 10 thousand discount in the coming weeks.

The price of R$ 58,990 is valid for the Kwid Zen 1.0 version, which includes air conditioning, front power windows, a radio with Bluetooth, stability and traction control, and four airbags.

Renault also announced a financing option with a rate of 0.99% per month in 48 installments of R$ 699, with a 61.50% down payment of R$ 36,278.85. However, these conditions are valid only for a limited stock of vehicles.

Hyundai

Hyundai also began offering discounts after the publication of the MP aimed at reducing the price of popular cars. Last week, the automaker announced a price reduction for the HB20 in the entry-level Sense 1.0 MT version. Currently, this model is being sold for R$ 74,290 in cash, compared with R$ 82,290 before the MP. This represents a reduction of R$ 8 thousand.

This is the maximum reduction currently offered by the Federal Government. Unlike Renault, Hyundai is not offering any additional discount.

As mentioned, the Federal Government published the MP with the aim of reducing the price of popular cars at the beginning of last week. Since the Provisional Measure has the force of law as soon as it is published, the document’s rules are already in effect and car prices have already been reduced at most automakers.

The MP establishes that discounts range from R$ 2,000 to R$ 8,000, depending on the car model. To this end, the Ministry of Finance created a points system, in which a higher score results in a larger discount. See

below the points breakdown:

Electricity/hybrid: 25;

Flex-fuel (ethanol/gasoline): 20.
