See which segments are eligible for the local government's R$3,000 Pix and the amount allocated to each.
In Muçum, Rio Grande do Sul, the Chamber of Shopkeepers (CDL) has started releasing the Municipal Pix, a government action to support residents impacted by the recent floods in the area. In total, a variety of segments will receive this support, from industrial sectors to families directly affected by the calamity.
Additionally, the Government decided not to use minimum income criteria to determine beneficiaries. Below, we will detail the segments eligible for the Government's R$3,000 Pix. So, stay tuned!

The first group of beneficiaries, who are already receiving the fund, includes businesses, the industrial sector, organizations, religious temples, residential groups, self-employed professionals and individuals who did not qualify for other state or federal aid.

In addition, these groups are receiving R$3,000. Furthermore, R$301,000 of the amount collected is earmarked for businesses and industrial sectors, recognizing their vital role in preserving employment and promoting the economy of the region.

The subsequent group, which will benefit from the 1st, includes Individual Microentrepreneurs (MEIs) and self-employed workers registered in the city. They will receive a Pix of R$$ 300, acting as an addition to the support provided by the SOS Rio Grande do Sul initiative, promoted by the state government.

Additionally, this segment also includes families who have already received government benefits and will now receive a shopping voucher worth R$1,400. Therefore, this group was defined based on the understanding that these individuals already receive assistance. This opens up space for others who are not covered by any previous scheme to join this support chain. They will receive R$5,100 of the total amount collected.
The remaining 65% of the collected fund will be allocated to the rest of those impacted. This group includes citizens who did not have access to social benefits, regardless of their family purchasing power. This is due to the fact that approximately 80% of the territory of Muçum suffered considerable damage, covering all social classes.
