Desenrola Brasil is an innovative federal government program that offers a unique opportunity for debt renegotiation, especially aimed at individuals, including public servants.
With the relaxation of the rules, federal public servants with an income of up to R$ 20,000 can now take advantage of the benefits of this program. Thus, this inclusion demonstrates the government’s commitment to offering more accessible and fairer financial solutions to a wide range of citizens, regardless of income bracket.

How do I pay off my debt?
Payment methods may vary according to the amount owed by each person. Therefore, for those who have debts of up to R$ 5,000, there is an installment payment opportunity, provided that the installments are not less than R$ 50.
Another relevant aspect is that the first installment of the renegotiation is due 30 days after signing the contract.
Therefore, see the other payment options made available by the platform for Brazilians:
- Direct debit from a checking account;
- Issuance of a bank payment slip by email;
- Use of Pix for those who choose to pay in full.
Income brackets and eligible debts under Desenrola Brasil
The program is divided into two main brackets; see how they work:
Tier 1

Tier 2
Covers federal public servants with a monthly income of up to R$ 20,000, enabling the renegotiation of bank debts registered by December 31, 2022.
Expansion of Desenrola Brasil
Desenrola Brasil is already operational and remains active until the end of 2023. A new phase of the program has begun, allowing debts of up to R$ 20,000 to be paid in installments.
Thus, this facilitation applies to debts incurred between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2022, including bank and non-financial debts, such as utility bills and retail purchases.
