Expansion of Desenrola Brasil
The new phase of Desenrola Brasil, launched in October 2023, runs until the end of December of the same year, offering R$126 billion in discounts to approximately 32 million Brazilians.
This concentrated effort to renegotiate debts covers both bank and non-bank overdue obligations, including utility bills such as:
- Electricity and water;
- Retail;
- Education;
- Among other things.
Therefore, for debts of up to R$5,000, beneficiaries may choose to pay in full. Installment payments over up to 60 months are also available, with interest of up to 1.99% per month.
How can I participate in the program?
To participate in Desenrola Brasil, interested parties must register on the federal government portal by creating a gov.br account, a process that is free and open to all Brazilians.
This gov.br registration comes with three security levels – bronze, silver, and gold – depending on how the user's data is validated. The program encourages debt renegotiation for those with incomes of up to two minimum wages or enrolled in CadÚnico. There are also facilitated conditions and support so that debts can be negotiated with significant discounts.
Therefore, it is important to note that the service is free and that citizens should be alert to possible fraud, registering only through the official website or the gov.br app. So, don't waste time and check your situation!
