In the Federal District, the Desenrola Brasil program, a federal government initiative, offers a unique opportunity for residents to renegotiate their electricity bill debts with discounts of up to 90%.
This initiative, valid until March 31, is a partnership with Neoenergia and aims to alleviate the financial burden of around 80,000 residents of Brasília who have accumulated debts with the company.

Who can participate?
To be eligible for this renegotiation program, consumers must meet specific criteria:
- Have an income of up to two minimum wages;
- Be registered with CadÚnico;
- Have negative debts between January 1, 2019 and December 31, 2022.
In addition to the possibility of significant discounts, the program allows debts to be paid in up to 60 installments. The installments in this case have a minimum value of R$1,400 and there is no need for a down payment.
This negotiation scheme is specially designed to facilitate payment and avoid consequences such as negative credit ratings and interruption of energy supply.
For consumers who do not meet the Desenrola Brasil criteria, Neoenergia offers the option of paying debts in up to 21 installments on a credit card, through the company Flexpag, with interest rates similar to those of the government program and discounts of up to 90%.
What is the objective of this Desenrola Brasil initiative?
This measure reflects the commitment of the government and Neoenergia to offer viable solutions for consumers facing financial difficulties.
Therefore, to participate in the Desenrola Brasil program, interested parties must access the program's official website and follow the instructions for renegotiation. This is an unmissable opportunity for residents of the Federal District to regularize their electricity bills and start the year with one less financial worry.
How do I pay off my debt?
Payment methods may vary depending on the amount owed by each person. Therefore, for those who have debts of up to R$5,000, there is the opportunity to pay in installments, as long as the installments are not less than R$50.
Furthermore, another relevant aspect is that the first installment of the renegotiation is due 30 days after signing the contract.
Therefore, see the other payment options made available by the platform for Brazilians:

- Issuance of bank slip by email;
- Use of Pix for those who choose to pay in cash.
