The disadvantage of this option is that the points expire after 24 months, which can be a drawback for those who do not travel as much. 

LATAM Pass

Points for this option are accumulated through the credit card Latam Pass Itaú or by transferring points from other cards on the market. 

Customers can also accumulate miles by shopping at Shopping Latam and joining Clube Latam Pass, which has a monthly subscription fee of R$ 40.90. 

As with TudoAzul, points at Latam also expire after 24 months.  

More people are using mileage programs

According to data from Abemf (Brazilian Association of Loyalty Market Companies), the number of registrations increased by 9.5% in the second quarter of 2023, thus reaching 306.3 million registrations. 

Compared with the same period last year, the number of points generated and redeemed increased by 25.9% and 23.5%, respectively. In addition, using miles to purchase airline tickets remains the highlight, with 85% of them being converted into airline miles.
