The University of São Paulo (USP) has just published a new public recruitment notice. Throughout this week, USP announced the opening of 119 positions spread across several cities in São Paulo state.

The USP recruitment process aims to hire new professionals as analysts for administrative affairs. In addition, the initial salary for the position reaches R$ 10,200, including benefits.
Distribution and requirements for USP positions
In total, USP is offering 119 positions, with 89 for general competition, 6 for people with disabilities (PwD) and 24 for self-declared Black, brown or Indigenous candidates. The cities included are Bauru, Lorena, Piracicaba, Pirassununga, Ribeirão Preto, São Carlos and São Paulo.
Candidates must hold a higher education degree in any field and have computer skills. In addition, any disability must not be incompatible with the duties of the position.
Application Procedure
Registration will open on July 3 and remain open until the 27th of the same month. To register, applicants must visit the website of the University Foundation for the Entrance Examination (Fuvest) and pay a fee of R$ 159.
Blood donors or low-income applicants may request a fee waiver until this Wednesday (06/21). On the other hand, unemployed students or those with an income below two minimum wages may request a fee reduction of up to 50%.
Stages of the USP selection process
The tests will take place on August 13, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., and will be divided into two stages. Initially, applicants will take an objective test with 70 multiple-choice questions covering specific or multidisciplinary areas.
Subsequently, in the second stage, applicants will have to write an argumentative essay in response to a question proposed by the examining board. Both stages are eliminatory and ranking-based.
